Years ago, (I mean, honestly, at least a decade at this point) I bought a Papyrus card for someone. Have you ever done that? Their logo is a hummingbird and inside each card sleeve there’s an insert that talks about the legend of a hummingbird. It resonated with me so much that first time, that I cut it out and have had it stuck up on a mirror wherever I’ve lived ever since. It goes like this:

“Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love, joy and celebration. Hummingbirds open our eyes to the wonder of the world and inspire us to open our hearts to loved ones and friends. Like a hummingbird, we aspire to hover and to savor each moment as it passes, embrace all that life has to offer and to celebrate the joy of everyday. The hummingbird’s delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning and that laughter is life’s sweetest creation.”

Thus, the name for this blog. It’s hard to sum up “all about me”, I imagine it’s difficult for anyone because we’re all just so human and a lot comes along with that. But here’s my start:
